General Purpose 

The Human Resource Representative is the main person who helps with HR services, hiring new workers, and checking background reports for people who apply for jobs.

This person gives hiring advice to managers and helps with the background check process for Ross Stores Inc. They make sure everything follows the law and company rules.

The HR Representative must gather and share information quickly and clearly with the right teams. They also handle important issues, make sure problems are fixed on time, and keep good communication with everyone involved.

Base Salary

The base pay for this job is between $22.69 and $32.79 per hour. Your exact pay depends on things like your experience, skills, education, and where you work. This pay range is only one part of what you can earn — you can also get other benefits depending on your job and location.

Full-time workers (like store workers, supervisors, and managers) can get extra benefits such as:

Essential Functions 

The HR Representative checks different HR email inboxes and answers questions. If a question needs special help, they send it to the right team. They also help with hiring new workers, from posting job openings to sending out job offers.

Their job includes posting jobs online, setting up interviews, managing temporary workers, and running the employee referral program (where workers get rewards for recommending new hires). They also help new workers with things like background checks and moving to a new location.

They answer many phone calls from workers at all levels, helping with questions about pay, benefits, time off, or using HR systems, following the company’s rules and steps.

Responsibilities

The person in this job takes care of background checks for all parts of the company.

Their main jobs include:

  • Checking the information that job applicants and workers give, like school or work records.
  • Making fair decisions about whether someone can be hired or promoted, following the law.
  • Contacting schools, courts, or other places to confirm information about job candidates.
  • Working with managers to explain the results of background checks.
  • Using the background check system to track progress and record final results.
  • Helping the legal and HR teams solve problems and make the background check process better.
